Psalm 3:3-5

Psalm 3:3-5
But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.

Oh Lord, You are my protection,
A shield against my fear,
You are the one who gives me strength
When troubles draw too near.

You help me have the faith I need
To hold my head up high
When sorrow closes in on me
And I just want to cry.

When I lay down at night to sleep,
I give my doubts to You,
And I can sleep, to rise at dawn,
Because You see me through.

You are my mighty mountain, Lord,
The rock on which I stand,
You are the peace to which I cling.
I live within Your hand.
