Psalm 107:6

Psalm 107:6
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.

Oh Lord please bind my broken heart
Or it may never mend.
It shattered a few years ago,
And my sorrow won’t end.

I act as if nothing is wrong
Then turn away and weep.
I have these memories of joy,
But no joy left to keep.

I hide within the day to day,
Hoping no one will see
The broken corners of my heart,
That rip and tear at me.

Tomorrow I will rise again,
Within a new day’s light,
And I will hide my pain, once more,
Then step into the fight.

But in You, Lord, I can find peace,
You bind my broken heart.
Please ease the sorrow that I face,
And help the healing start.

Psalm 106:47-48

Psalm 106:47-48
Save us, Lord our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise. Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the Lord.

He has called us each to Him,
From all the world around.
The children who were all once lost
And now, in Him, are found.

He did not leave us in the dark,
But called us each by name,
That we might live within His Light
And leave behind our shame.

He calls us from every nation,
And joyfully we rise.
For in Him is our salvation,
The Hope that never dies.

From now until everlasting,
We’ll sing out in delight,
He has called us from all nations
To live within His Light.

Psalm 105:1-4

Psalm 105:1-4
Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.

Tonight, I lift a simple praise
Of joy and gratitude,
Despite the struggles of the day,
Such is my attitude.

For You took every tear that fell
And filled them with rainbows.
You healed each heartbreak with such love,
There’s no scar that still shows.

My worries and my weariness
You washed in quiet peace,
And each time I counted my sins,
You gave my soul release.

I’ve nothing left to give You, Lord,
But gratitude and joy,
And I will lift both with full heart,
My praises to employ!
