Psalm 12:6-8

Psalm 12:6-8
And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times. You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race.

We are compelled to live this life
Within the world we walk,
But we have been instructed to
Make The Word what we talk.

There are so many in this world
Who speak using Your name,
When what they seek is to achieve
For themselves, greater fame.

They claim to defend those who can’t,
Yet use the weak as tools.
Condemning those who disagree,
Not as wrong, but as fools.

But He whose hand has shaped us all
Is not fooled by the lie.
He will bring their plans to ruin
Despite all that they try.

For such is His love of the lost,
The broken and the weak,
That He will lift them up once more,
When it is Him they seek.

So do not look to broken men
To lead You to God’s plan,
But live as He lived on this earth,
Follow Him and not man.
