Psalm 58:6-7

Psalm 58:6-7
Break the teeth in their mouths, O God; Lord, tear out the fangs of those lions! Let them vanish like water that flows away; when they draw the bow, let their arrows fall short.

We walk within the shadow of
A world of endless sin,
But that does not mean all is lost,
Or that faith will not win.

The lion still will hunt its prey,
Demons will still torment,
But we must stand strong in the faith
That Life is heaven sent.

Do not fall victim to the world,
Nor pray to see vengeance,
But pray that those walking in sin
Find Grace, not recompense.

Pray that those lost will find the way,
That those who fall are healed,
And that those weary from the fight
Find strength to never yield.

Pray that the plans of God, not man,
Are brought bear on earth
And that the streams of His sweet Grace
Restore, in us, His worth.

Psalm 57:9-11

Psalm 57:9-11
I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.

Glory, Glory to You, Oh Lord,
Great Glory to Your name.
May all the earth lift praises up,
Your Glory to proclaim.

Let all the waters of the earth
Sing loudly in Your praise.
Let all the mountains, rejoicing,
Worship You all their days.

Let all the trees reach up to You,
Let rivers sing with joy,
Let all earths creatures, old and young,
Their songs of praise employ.

But first among all of the earth,
Let my voice raise on high,
To praise the Lord who redeemed me,
That I might never die.

That I might live eternally
To praise His holy name.
With joyous heart, to sing to Him,
His Glory to proclaim.

Psalm 56:10-11

Psalm 56:10-11
In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me?

There are so many things we do
That cause hurt or dismay
To those we love, or those we hate,
Or those met on our way.

Some of the damage is by plan,
And some by accident,
But, either way, the damage done
Leaves pain and discontent.

There is no cure born of mankind
That can heal that much pain,
And, even when the wounds have healed,
The tortured scars remain.

It is in God, and God alone,
That great healing is found.
A love so pure it finds the lost
And turns them back around.

When each day rises in the dawn
I never know for sure
If it will be a day of joy
Or pain I must endure.

The only thing I truly know
With all my weary soul,
Is, by the time the sun has set,
God will make my wounds whole.

So I will place my trust in Him
Who holds dawn in His hand,
For He holds more power to heal
Than we can understand.
