Psalm 42:7-8

Psalm 42:7-8
Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me. By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.

I lift my voice in endless praise,
I sing to You in joy,
I let my heart’s delight pour forth.
Lord, I cannot be coy.

You are the light that fills my world,
The mountain soaring high,
The water rushing to the sea,
And the hummingbird’s cry.

You are the vast and oh so small,
You’re everything I see.
You are the light that fills my world,
And Your grace set me free.

So, like the whirling river flows
Unbound in early spring,
Oh Lord, let my voice spill forth now
In Your praise, enduring.

Let my voice soar above the rush
That cascades down the fall
Until the whole world echoes with
The song of my heart’s call.

In prayer to the God of my life.
