Psalm
76:11
Make
vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them; let all the neighboring lands bring
gifts to the One to be feared.
We
promise to obey the Lord,
To
pray and honor Him.
And
we fulfill this promise when
The
world seems dark and grim.
But
when the world falls into place
And
life is going well,
It
seems we often forget who
Has
brought us out of hell.
He
hears our promises each time,
And
holds them in His heart.
How
can we be so forgetful
When
He has done His part?
Let
me admonish each of us,
Promise,
then follow through.
For
He deserves at least that much
From
me, and also you.
