Psalm 63:2-4

Psalm 63:2-4
I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name, I will lift up my hands.

I see You in every new dawn,
And in the stars at night.
I see You in the snow-capped peaks,
Glittering crisp and bright.

I see You in the spring’s new buds
And autumn’s ripe harvest.
I see You in the fresh green grass,
The foam on each wave’s crest.

I see You, Lord, in the kind works
Done in Your perfect name
By those who act in Your spirit
Without credit or fame.

So many seek You first in church,
And, Lord, I do so, too.
But it is in Your creation
That I can best see You.
