My Shepherd

 

John 10:27

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

Lord, I will follow where You lead,

If You’ll show me the way.

Please help to stay on the path

That I must walk each day.

I know the road will not be smooth,

In fact, some days I’ll fall.

But I will rise and start again

When I hear Your voice call.

You are the shepherd, I’m Your lamb.

Yet You gave me the choice,

To walk along the wayward path,

Or to follow Your voice.

And I have been a wayward child.

Lord, I have gone astray,

But You loved me and called me back.

You didn’t turn away.

So, I will follow where You lead,

Wherever that may be.

For I know that my Shepherd will

Keep a close watch on me.
