By Faith, Not Sight

I cannot always see the way,
The world can interfere,
But, even when I’m without sight,
I listen and I hear.

You called to me, You marked the path
And bade me to follow.
I may not see what lies ahead,
But I will rise and go.

I know that I’m still far from You,
In fact, I’m often lost.
My path has been scarred by tempest
And I have paid the cost.

But I will keep on seeking You,
Following in Your light,
And, until I can see clearly,
I’ll walk by faith, not sight.

2 Corinthians 5:6-7
So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight.
