Psalm
128:3-4
Your
wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like
olive shoots around your table. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who
fears the Lord.
Family
is a precious gift,
One
not to be ignored.
Within
the heart of family
Lost
hopes can be restored.
When
all falls into disarray
And
sorrow is at hand,
Your
family will hold you close
Or
lift you up to stand.
They
are the roots that give you strength
To
stand within the gales.
They
are the wings on which you fly
Through
life’s many travails.
They
shape the stories you will hold
As
you walk on through life.
They
are a blessing, by God’s Grace,
In
happiness and strife.
