Psalm
114:7-8
Tremble,
earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, who turned
the rock into a pool, the hard rock into springs of water.
What
are the needs of His children,
Those
who have wandered far?
He
has been there long before them,
And
knows what their needs are.
The
land He gave them is fruitful,
The
waters flowing sweet.
There
is no need that they ask for
That
He, who’s Lord, can’t meet.
For
He reshaped the barren lands
Until
they teemed with life,
And
He reshaped their sinful hearts
Until
they turned from strife.
Tremble,
you lands, and quake you seas!
The
Lord speaks, all obey!
While
those whom He calls His children,
Lift
grateful hearts to pray.
