Oh Lord, lift up the broken heart,
Teach it to sing once more.
For it will never soar in joy
While bound to sorrow’s shore.
Bring light into the shadows, Lord,
Where shame and disgrace hide
Drawing the forlorn to the place
Where peace and grace abide.
Help those who fear they are not seen
To truly understand
That they are valued in Yours eyes,
