A bit of laughter and some shame,
Some pain and some delight,
All brought me through another day
Still standing in Your Light.
Life never was an easy path,
And it’s not meant to be,
But by Your grace and with some faith
I’ll find that better me.
Some days the path is all up hill,
And some days I lose track
Of all the twists and turns I’ve missed
Then had to double back.
Yet here I am at this day’s end,
Still breathing and upright.
Praising Your name in gratitude
Still standing in Your Light!
