What I See

I heard You in the words today
Of a friend who stopped by,
I saw You in the faith of one
Who did not fail to try.
I felt You in the tiny breeze that
That stirred the smoke filled sky.
I seemed to find You everywhere,
As if You were nearby.

You fill the world in which we live.
Though many will not see,
I’ve found that every place I look
You’re there, plain as can be.
I don’t believe their eyes can’t see,
Instead, it seems to me
They are so focused on this world,
They miss eternity.
