The
minutes tick by so quickly
And
the dusk settles in.
It
seems the day is gone before
My
unwind can begin.
It’s
probably a good thing, then,
That
my peace comes from You,
For
if it came from getting rest
I’d
never make it though.
So,
let me lift my voice in praise,
For
I am truly blessed.
I
thank You, Lord, for giving me
The
peace that brings me rest.
