The
world is washed in dark despair,
As
it has always been.
It
sometimes seems like hope is lost,
When
darkness rolls back in.
Yet,
deep within the darkest night,
The
Light shines, clear and true.
Though
darkness might cover the world,
His
Light always shines through.
His
Light shines brightest in the dark,
For
darkness can’t prevail
Against
Him who called forth the Light.
He
will not let it fail.

The
light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
