Blending in

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Though I’m a plain and simple thing,

Unnoticed on most days,
By lots of folks who pass me by
Down sidewalks and hallways;
I know that God sees me each day,
And loves me just the same,
As any creature, lovelier,
For I live in His Name.
 
And I may blend in to the world
That passes me right by,
But I know I can’t disappear
Beneath God’s loving eye.
