Lord, keep watch over us today
As we relax and rest.
We thank you for your labors which
Provide for us the best;
The best warm earth where we can grow,
The food our bodies need,
The rain that falls, the sunlit sky,
The prayers you always heed.
Your labors born of endless love
Have brought us to this day
And so, before you rest a bit,
Please keep watch while we play.
