The
world is a harsh place at best,
It’s
always been that way,
But
we are called to live kindness,
Let
graciousness hold sway.
Season
your words with kinder tones.
Guard
your tongue and your heart,
For
that is where the best intent
Begins
to fall apart.
The
world has enough angry souls
With
no will for amends.
Remember
who has called you His,
And
treat others as friends.
You
may not change each heart you meet,
You’re
not expected to.
But
you’re called to offer the grace
That
He has shown to you.
