Sailing into Tomorrow

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We lay the plans that we can make

And then go with Your flow,

For we can’t know what the day brings

Before we start to go.

 

We set our course and chart the path

Until the first winds blow,

Then we adjust our sails and run,

And, when we must, we row.

 

You see what lies before us, Lord,

The things that we can’t know,

And we must trust You’ll lead us through

An unknown tomorrow.

 

I’m grateful that You have been there,

Wherever I must go,

And that You know what lies ahead.

In faith I will follow.
