Today
was not an easy day,
There
are those, now and then.
But,
win or lose, tomorrow comes,
Pick
up and start again.
It
took the strength of a kind friend,
A
loving word or two,
And
lots of grace from God and man
To
truly see me through.
I
felt the tears come welling up,
Yet
I did not dare cry
For
there was nothing tears could do
But
cloud a worried eye.
Tomorrow
I will start again
And
take the work in stride,
But
for tonight I’ll pray for peace
And
in that peace, abide.

the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!
