Perfect Imperfections

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Perfect are the works of God,

Though each one bears some flaw.

It is the imperfections which

Enhance my sense of awe.

 

The little flaws highlight the charm,

The elegance, the grace.

All those perfect imperfections

That He set in their place.

 

I know that I am also flawed,

So, somewhere deep in me

There must be some small perfection

That I still can’t quite see.

 

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
