Running Into the Wind

The wind whips fiercely in my face,
I run to into the gale;
I find that when the wind’s most fierce
It’s easier to sail.

For gentle breezes soothe the waves
When there’s no where to go,
But for the wind on which to fly
I need the fiercest blow.

Thus I must face adversity
Not as a fearful thing,
But run at it with confidence
Until it gives me wing!

1 Corinthians 9:26
Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air.
