Waiting For The Light

There was a stillness in the night,
Not born out of their fear.
The universe, holding its breath,
Knew what was drawing near.

While they wept with their broken hearts,
The angels understood
That from their sorrow would come joy,
Mankind would know great good.

The heavens knew, from that darkness,
A new Light would burst through
And all the world would come to know
That Light, perfect and true.

While they waited in the darkness,
The night was fading fast,
And in its place was being born
The True Light that would last.

Mark 15:46
And Joseph bought a linen shroud, and taking him down, wrapped him in the linen shroud and laid him in a tomb that had been cut out of the rock. And he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb.
