Just some quiet thoughts tonight,
The sunlight on the trees,
The dogwood blossoms quivering
In a soft, springtime breeze,
Wild gulls dancing above the waves
On sunlit shores and seas,
The sweetest moments of my life
Are often made of these.
All of these wonders, great or small,
Were formed as You had planned
And I receive them as blessings
Directly from Your hand.
Psalm 144:15
Blessed are the people to whom such blessings fall!
Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!
