Both Joy and Sorrow

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I Give You praise for all the joy

And for the sorrow, too.

For each serves as a reminder

Of all You’ve led me through.

 

You’ve never let me face either

Without feeling Your hand

On my shoulder, or holding me

When I’m too weak to stand.

 

Joy brings laughter, the other pain,

But both have helped me see

That I’d not last a day without

Your blessings and mercy.
