Today was not an easy one,
With tears and a goodbye,
But I know we will meet again
And tears of joy, we’ll cry.
Their road led them to travel on,
While I am called to stay.
Though I know sorrow for right now,
We’ll laugh again one day.
Oh, Lord, though I may feel their loss,
My heart still wants to sing.
For You gave me time to know them,
And that’s a great blessing!
