A simple praise beats in my heart,
I offer it to You.
Lord thank you for this crazy day
That You just brought me through.
Half of the day I fought back tears
And half the day was sweet.
But it took both halves of the day
For it to be complete.
I treasure days awash in peace,
But crazy’s okay, too.
For I can face what comes my way,
If I face it with You.
