Confess to Him, for He well knows
The sin that scars your soul.
He also knows what it will take
To make the broken, whole.
He’s paid the price that we may claim,
But we are called to more.
We must confess and change the path
That we’ve walked heretofore.
It’s not enough to stand in shame,
Confession is required,
And turning back from those choices
In which our sins transpired.
These are such easy words to say,
Though much harder to live.
Confess, repent and be redeemed.
Such Grace, He longs to give!
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count
slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but
that all should reach repentance.
