We
all get lost within our pain,
Counting
the scars we bear
Instead
of living in the joy
That
we each have to share.
There
will be darkness in each life,
But
there will be light, too.
It
falls to us to choose which one
We
give attention to.
For,
if we live within darkness,
The
dark is all we see,
And
that which we hold in our heart
Becomes
what we will be.
But
those who let the light of grace
Lead
them through each dark night,
Will
find the darkness powerless
Over
hearts filled with Light.
