In the stillness at day’s end

I find a peaceful place

Where I can look back on the day,

With all its hurried pace,

And see, without question or doubt,

The design of Your Grace.

 

It is not in the grander scheme,

But in the small detail,

That I can clearly recognize

How Your will can prevail.

For, even when things go sideways,

Your mercy does not fail.

 

You take my topsy-turvy world

And shift my point of view

Until I start to recognize

The little things You do,

The small details that remind me

I’m greatly blessed by You.
