Wallowing in Muck

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why are patience and forgiveness

So hard to hold on to.

You’d think after the grace You gave,

I’d know just what to do.

 

Yet here I sit, working it out,

One hard step at a time.

For a soul washed clean by Your love

I sure wallow in grime.

 

Lord, help to recall Your grace,

Then patiently forgive.

This muck of anger is no place

For Your redeemed to live.

bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
