I try to keep my eyes on You,
To walk the narrow way,
But sometimes I get distracted,
And find I’ve gone astray.
I turn back from the wayward trail,
And seek once more for You,
Knowing that Your light will lead me
Back to the path anew.
I know sometimes life can obstruct
Even a focused gaze.
Yet, there is comfort knowing that
Your vision never strays.
Lord, I will keep my eyes on You,
And trust You’re watching me.
With both feet on the path You’ve walked,
I’m where I want to be.
Psalm 34:5
Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall
never be ashamed.
