I’m giving it all up tonight,
The crazy weekday pace.
Instead, I claim the perfect peace
That’s born within His grace.
The stillness found in letting go
And breathing in the peace
Of love that waits for me to pause,
A love that does not cease.
I thank You, Lord, for all I have,
The work, the crazy days,
And for the peace in which I rest.
Oh Lord, I lift my praise.
Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
