A New Week Hovering

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The week is hovering ahead.

I don’t know what it brings,

But I can almost hear the sound

Of its rustling wings.

 

I’m never fully prepared for

What each new week will hold,

But I am prepared by my faith

To step out and be bold.

 

For I have set my eyes on You,

My heart tuned to Your Word,

And, in Your peace, I can begin

The new week undeterred.

 

Although I hear it hovering,

I’ll rest without dismay

And face the new week in faith that

You’ll guide me all the way.
