He is Sovereign

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It grew out of the dry concrete,

A harsh and barren place

For such a fierce display of hope

And such a joyful face.

 

It is as if God had a plan,

Putting it in that place

Where all it had to survive on

Was faith and lots of Grace.

 

That cheery bloom stands testament

To His grace to provide,

It is sufficient to our needs

And will not be denied

 

To those who walk with Him in faith

And humble gratitude.

What we need’s not a better life,

It’s a Faith attitude.

 

It’s knowing that He has a plan,

That He is Sovereign Lord,

And those who trust in Him will live

Renewed, redeemed, restored!
