My Victory

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The seasons change and life moves on,

Time never will stand still,

And we are each given our time

To do with as we will.

 

Some choose to walk a wayward path,

While others seek out love,

But most of us live in between…

Until push comes to shove.

 

It took some time for me to learn

That living in His Light

Would fill my restless heart with peace.

His Word is my delight.

 

The life that He asks me to live

Is not always easy,

But I will place my faith in Him

And claim my victory!

 

1 John 5:3-4

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
