Keeping My Eyes on You

I set my eyes upon You, Lord,

When all the world was dark
And I had no hope left to me.
You were my guiding spark.
 
Now I stand once more in the sun,
Its light shines all around,
And still my eyes are fixed on You,
The truest light I’ve found.
 
I know I’ll pass through more darkness,
For life is just that way,
But I will keep my eyes on You,
And never more will stray!

I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
