My Shepherd watches over me,
For I am His to keep.
I do not fear that I’ll be lost,
The Shepherd guards His sheep.
I know His voice when He calls me,
And He knows my voice, too.
I need but whisper and He hears,
He’s there to lead me through.
I do not fear what is to come
As I did in the past,
For my Good Shepherd is on watch,
And His love holds me fast.
He’s my Good Shepherd, I’m His lamb,
I’ll follow Him always.
For He gave His life for my sins,
And I give Him all praise.
