Oh Lord, a new week lies ahead
With challenges to face,
But I will walk into this week
Grateful for all Your grace.
I know that I’ve enjoyed the peace
This weekend brought to me,
But I am looking forward to
Being where You need me.
Lord, thank You for much needed rest,
And for the work I do.
I doubt that I’d have had either
If it were not for You.

done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done.
