We Know In Part

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We’ve learned so much through the ages

And grown to understand

The things that once were past belief

Are now at our command.

 

It’s clear that what we knew back then,

Is ancient news today

And, no doubt, tomorrow will bring

Much more insight our way.

 

So it is, also, with wisdom,

With words of prophecy,

We see only a small part now,

Compared to what will be.

 

The ancient world called miracle,

Those things we see each day,

And we can’t know the miracles

God still has on the way.

 

1 Corinthians 13: 9-10

For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.
