Tonight I’m a bit short of words,

My thoughts have gone astray.

But I wanted to talk to You,

About my world today.

 

It was crazy, with ups and downs,

But all along the way

I knew that You would see me through

The chaos of my day.

 

Although my words seem to be lost

As my mind starts to fray,

I hope You’ll hear my heart speaking

All that my words can’t say.
