I
pray for patience and for peace,
As
I walk through each day,
I
pray that You will keep me close
And
watch me on the way.
I
pray that I will walk Your path
And
that You’ll stay close by.
I
pray that I’ll rejoice always,
And
lift your praise on high.
I
pray that I will hear Your words
And
hold them in my heart,
Until
I’m made perfect in You,

As
for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast
in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.
