Textured Sky

The sky was grey and overcast
Textured by wind and light,
It was a perfect ending to
A dark and chilly night.

I thought at first how grim it seemed
Until I looked closely
And saw God weaving clouds and light
In absolute beauty.

I’m learning not to glance and judge,
But to take time to see
The glory that’s not obvious,
Yet really ought to be.

Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
