In weariness I prayed for rest,
My soul cried out to You.
You wrapped me in Your perfect peace,
To rest and to renew.
I thank You, Lord, for this respite
From life’s chaotic pace,
And for the peace I always find
Within Your loving grace.

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will
give you rest.
