Oh, Lord, I cannot find my voice
And all my thoughts are trite.
I’m lost in darkness, without words,
Please wash me in Your Light.
I want to sing my praise to You,
But the songs elude me,
Please help me find words adequate
To praise You joyfully.
Oh, Lord, I give my heart to You,
Since thoughts seem hard to find.
I want You to know I love You,
Though no words come to mind.
