I’m practicing staying on track,
Keeping my eyes on You.
Though I may not come out on top,
I know I’ll make it through.
You always keep Your eye on me,
Through every up and down,
For You have called me by my name
And hold for me, a crown.
I’ll never understand quite why
You love me as You do,
But up or down, I’ll stay on track
And keep my eyes on You.
