I heard You speak my name today,
You told to be still.
Despite the chaos of the day,
I stopped to do Your will.
I took a breath and felt Your peace
Wash through my crazy day.
You are my strength when I am weak,
My path when I’m astray.
I felt Your peace and then Your strength,
I rose and carried on.
The chaos hadn’t abated
But my stress was all gone.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as
the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let
them be afraid.
