You Know Me Best

 

Just a moment of delight,

A simple gift of joy,

And yet it lingers in my heart

To savor and enjoy.

You do not send me great riches,

Or all my heart’s desire.

But You give me what I need most,

The moments that inspire,

The insight that will lift me up

When I am trapped in fear,

Or maybe just a little time

With one precious and dear.

You always know just what I need,

Though my mind’s not as clear.

Lord. I thank You for knowing best

The gifts I hold most dear!
