Light of Hope

 

I just wanted to thank You, Lord,

For such a gift of Grace.

You lifted me from misery

Into a joyful place.

You showed me that the path I’m on

Will be marked with travails,

But, when I walk that path in faith,

I’ll find Your will prevails.

For it’s while we walk the dark path,

Twisted, bleak and grim,

That faith becomes the light of hope,

And leads us back to Him.

2 Samuel 22:29

You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light.
